PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Preparation
Duration – Varies dependent upon specialties chosen (2-5 days)
About:
The PADI MSDT rating is what sets you apart from other newly qualified Instructors as it shows a willingness to continue your personal development and also enables you to teach many more PADI courses.
Often the PADI Specialty courses are the most fun to teach as they are always an area in which you have a personal interest and you can really show an enthusiasm for your scuba diving specialty topic. Here in Malta diving, the popular specialty scuba diving course to complete during a diving holiday tends to be the Wreck specialty but if you have a passion for Underwater Photography or Marine Conservation then this is your opportunity to be able to teach future divers about your passions.
For the MSDT preparation, you will choose 5 of the specialty PADI courses you would like to be able to teach and for each you will complete a knowledge development section at the dive centre and 1 or 2 in water skills
What does this enable me to do?:
Once you have completed the course, you will be able to teach those specialties and as soon as you reach 25 total certifications, you can become a PADI MSDT.
Where next?:
Why stop at teaching 5 specialties though? Complete more and enable yourself to teach your divers even more courses!
